First things first!

  1. Send to mail to sales@libcom.com stating you would like to have to your web and ftp space available.  You should include you USERID when making the request.
  2. You will receive an e-mail in a couple of days stating your site is complete. While you wait you should go to the following steps to prepare.
  3. Download and install WS_FTP LE.  This is the software that will allow you to upload your files to your site. We suggest downloading the file to your Desktop.

Installing and Configuring your WS_FTP LE

Installing WS_FTP LE:
  1. Double click on the WS_FTPLE.exe icon.
  2. Click the CONTINUE button.
  3. Select OTHER - Click NEXT.
  4. Select AT HOME and PERSONAL USE.
  5. Click ACCEPT.
  6. Click OK for the next options.
  7. After installing WS_FTP LE, start the program and enter the following information (make sure your WS_FTP session properties looks the same. NOTE: in the User ID block, DO NOT include the < > symbols)

 

   2.    Click on the "Startup" tab and enter the following information (make sure your WS_FTP session properties looks the same. NOTE: in the User ID block, DO NOT include the < > symbols)

 

3.    Click Apply, then OK

You will be connected to your FTP site. 

 

Copying files to your directory

1.   After you connect to your FTP site, you will see the following screen:

 

NOTE: The Left Window (Local System) represents your computer and the Right Window (Remote System) represents your FTP site.

2. On the left window (Local System) change to directory where you are keeping you web pages.

3. Select the pages to want to copy up to your FTP site and click the RIGHT Arrow in-between the Windows panes.

NOTE:  Your home page must be called "DEFAULT.HTM". You can link any pages from that and call them what you like.

NOTE:  Your can view your web site by starting your browser and entering the following address http://members.libcom.com/< your user id here > (DO NOT include the < > symbols).
